Product Liability ConceptProduct liability refers to the liability of any or all parties along the chain of manufacture of any product for damage caused by that product, if it is determined that the product is defective or unsafe. The chain of manufacturer can include the manufacturer of the product, the wholesaler, distributer and the retailer.  Different laws and standards can apply to each depending where you are in the chain of manufacture.

As a trial attorney I have practiced product liability for my entire career, and have handled cases dealing with allegations of defective products of all types.  These include motor vehicles, consumer products, asbestos, fork lifts, heavy duty trucks, machine guarding, tires, component parts of motor vehicles, airplanes, seat belts, medical devices, boats and watercraft, and food products to name a few.As a mediator I have mediated cases dealing with a wide range of products that have been alleged to cause injuries and damages. I have been selected as a Florida SuperLawer® in the field of product liability; been rated AV Preeminent® by Martindale Hubbell for 30years; have been a member of the Product Liability Advisory Council; and have worked with some of the finest experts and engineers in the world on product liability cases.
